Kingham Cottages are located in the heart of Kingham village. Kingham is the perfect English town chosen by Country Life. They have a flourishing community and a pair of excellent pubs, The Kingham Plough (owned by Chef Proprietor Emily Watkins and her partner Miles Lampson) and The Wild Rabbit (run by Lady Carole Bamford) in addition to a hotel, the Kingham Mill Hotel; all 3 serve exceptional cuisine within walking range of Kingham Cottages. Having Daylesford Organic's farm outlet and café a short walking distance one could enjoy each appetizing dish throughout the day in a different spot free of actually using the motor.

Kingham is situated in the wonderful Cotswold country side between Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford. With a population of about a thousand it features a high performing primary school, good village shop with postal service and many organisations and clubs, several of which Delphie and Chris are associated with. Actually Delphie has prepared meals for the Kingham Lunch club for more than 25 years.

Explained in the Doomsday Book, Kingham has consistently kept up with the times and continuing in this culture, Kingham Cottages are prepared to greet you with 3 spectacular self-catering vacation properties built with classic Cotswold stone.

Chipping Norton is a gorgeous marketplace village with two fine butcher shops, a deli and many independent local stores and restaurants in addition to 2 supermarkets. The prize-winning Jaffé & Neale Bookshop and Café is a special delight.

Churchill has a beautiful church tower influenced by a copy of the Magdalen College tower located in Oxford and the interior is a replica of Corpus Christi dining hall. There is a fantastic neighborhood pub, The Chequers, which does excellent meals in the evenings and at lunchtime..

Burford with their lengthy history of hospitality being a travellers town on the path from London and Oxford to Worcester or Birmingham, has exquisite Cotswold design, exclusive shops and galleries, pubs and restaurants and one of the top 20 chapels in the country. It is a "must do" to see during your time in the Cotswolds.

Stow-on-the-Wold has as many vintage merchants you could dream of together with a great variety of pubs, cafés and speciality gourmet and home decor stores.

Golf can be enjoyed at The Wychwood Golf Club in Lyneham (5 mins), Chipping Norton (10 minutes), or Heythrop in Enstone .

Town walks can be made to Bledington (feed the swans or have a meal at the King's Head), Oddington (beautiful medieval artwork in the vintage church, best experienced on a light day, or a meal at The Fox), Daylesford Organics (for shopping, massage treatments or simply browsing), or Churchill (interesting chapel copying Oxford schools and excellent food and beverage at The Chequers).

Visit Oddington (beautiful medieval paintings in the vintage church, ideally experienced on a light day, or lunch at The Fox), Bledington (feed the swans on the commons or get a meal or drink at the King's Head), Daylesford Organics (for spa treatments, shopping or just browsing), or Churchill (intriguing church copying Oxford universities and great food and beverage at The Chequers).
